Katy Perry is here to make us feel like we’re living in someone else’s American dream. 

She performed her new, quasi-political single, “Chained to the Rhythm,” for the first time at the Grammys and, as promised, she included some pointed visuals about Trump’s America. “There’s some imagery that tells a story,” Perry told Seacrest on the red carpet. “Just pay attention to the narrative.”

Perry sang in a white pantsuit — a tribute to the suffragette movement and her girl, Hillary Clinton, who won a Grammy herself in 1996 for the audiobook of It Takes a Village. She accessorized with a sparkly armband reading, “resist.” Read more…
